This month, we'll be meeting at House 6 Brewing Company in Ashburn, Virginia on July 11th at 6:00PM.
The beer of the month will be lawnmower beers. Homebrews preferred, and any other styles of beers are still welcome. If you don't have a homebrew to bring, bring your favorite commercial example!
For our education portion, we will continue from last month and conduct blind tastings on various commercial beers. We'll try to guess the styles of each beer, what beer it might be, and talk about how the beers compare to BJCP guidelines. We'll also be looking to have an open conversation about lagering, discuss what some of the pain points to lagering on a homebrew level might be, and exchange tips and tricks (or alternatives!) about lagering. If you're a homebrewer who does not lager, but regularly makes "PilsAles" and similar things, be ready to talk about it,
See everyone at the meeting!
Cheers,
