This month we had a new homebrewer come by, Tim. Tim brought a coffee stout that was one of the favorites of the night, even if it didn't quite fall into the "Pale Ale" category! Our Club Treasurer (and former fearless leader) Jason gave our club financial report, we talked about the upcoming Happy Hour this Friday at Juicy Brewing Company (which will be sent out in an email later this week), and we began collecting club dues ($50 for the year). We tried homebrews by Slava, Brian (x2), Mark, and Tim, and Keith's Dottyback, which he brewed on Vanish's system, and some commercial examples of an American Pale Ale (18B BJCP).
Our beer of the month for March is Irish beers. Bring in a homebrew that you think best fits this category, which we've kept deliberately broad.
Our beer of the month for April is "April Fools Day"! We'll all be brewing goofy beers or something crazy, and everyone is going to guess what style the beers are and whose they might be.
Our next meeting will be March 7th at House 6 Brewing.
