TSF January Meeting Details

Hey everybody,

Happy New Year! There are big plans for the Social Fermenters in 2025, starting with a meeting Wednesday, January 15th, 6:30PM, at Dynasty Ashburn.

To kick the year off, the club will be discussing potential competitions to submit each Beer of the Month (BOTM, "bɔ́t-əm") to, if we want to do a BOTM or instead do something quarterly, and if we want to do any sort of themed monthly/quarterly beer. Since we missed our annual Spring Bar Crawl, we will also try to find a range of time that we are aiming for to get it in our calendars early. If there are any other ideas that anyone has (past experiences at other homebrew clubs? something you read on Reddit?), bring those ideas ou; the goal of all this discussion is to encourage us to brew more beer!

We should, hopefully, have a couple of new faces joining us this month, so if you're a potential member (or a potential returning member) who has been on the fence about attending a meeting, January is the perfect time! We do not require any attendees to bring a homebrew; even if you don't have anything in the keg right this moment, we appreciate all feedback and a chance to talk about how we could improve on our beers.
